This plugin currently registers the following PAPI variables (requires: PlaceholderAPI)

| %companions_activeCompanion% | Key of the companion the player is currently using |
| %companions_companionLevel% | Level of the player's current companion instance |
| %companions_companionName% | Formatted name of the player's current companion (quality, name, level) |
| %companions_companionCoin% | Player's companion coins |
| %companions_companionSize% | Number of companion instances the player holds (same type counted separately) |
The name format is determined by companionNameFormat in the main config. ${level}, ${quality} and similar are config-internal variables, not PlaceholderAPI variables.
